The "Report on the academic year 2015-2016" has been published
The University of Barcelona has published the Report on the academic year 2015-2016, which reflects the most distinguished activities and main data of the institution for the last year. This yearʼs edition continues with the design line of other institutional publications, such as The University of Barcelona in figures. The publication has been created by the Technical Bureau of the Rectorʼs Office and has been edited by Editions and Publications of the University of Barcelona, with 255 copies in the Catalan version, to be distributed in the University as well as in other institutions and bodies linked to higher education in Catalonia. Like last year, Spanish and English editions will be available online in the coming weeks.

The Report on the academic year 2015-2016 collects a synthesis of the most important activity carried out during last year at the University in the fields of education, research, innovation and transfer of knowledge. This is complemented with a website with more statistical data. The publication is divided into five theme areas: “A centenary university committed to the people” in which the main data of the University of Barcelona and its government current affairs are summarized; “The university of people” including services to the university community and institutional and cultural activities; “The leading university in training”, which gathers academic offerings and education support services; “The leading university in research”, which analyzes the research performance and transfer of technology, knowledge and innovation, and “A university with international projection”, which focuses on the international activity of the institution and the mobility of the different university collectives.
Like in previous editions, each chapter has opinions from several members of the different collectives that integrate the university community on topics from their fields. It also includes pieces of articles published in the media which make reference to the reviewed activities. The contents have numerous photographs, poster reproductions and other graphic material that illustrate the content as well as distinguished figures for their relevance in the last academic year.
