In the University of Barcelona, the end of the academic year and the beginning of summerʼs solstice has been highlighted for years -symbolically- by the beginning of Els Vespres. This cycle of free concerts, taking place during July at the garden of the Historical Building of the UB, has become a certain event for the lovers of the most interesting emerging music in the current scene. This yearʼs poster provides six music performances that range from Pol Fuentesʼ art song, through the charismatic post-punk by Les Sueques, to Outer Spaceʼs afro-beat rhythm. In addition, the cycle includes Troncoʼs fresh pop, the playful verses by El Pèsol Feréstec, and the crooner elegant rock by the Canadian artist Calvin Love.
