Apart from the UB, other participants in the agreement are University of Seville, the University of Salamanca, University of Navarra, University of Alcalá, the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Santiago de Compostela. In the framework of this agreement, Aristo Pharma Iberia, with a wide portfolio of generic and self-care products, launched the first edition of Lab Day, which aims to get closer to future pharmacists through education. This initiative will help students in their last year and master degree students of Pharmacy discover how the pharmaceutical industry works and will carry out practical activities in the real context of this work in the facilities of Aristo Pharma under the supervision of its professionals.

According to Joachim Teubner, “Lab Day will be carried out during a weekend; on Friday the practice and tasks will be explained and on Saturday they will see the facilities and will undergo practical work in the pharmaceutical development department in Medisa, on solid shapes, coated tablets and pellets. Thanks to initiatives like this one, we can train future professionals of this sector. We believe and invest in the training in all stages, and now we got closer to students to show them and make them participants of the daily life in a laboratory.”
