On the 7th and 8th of November, the Department of Business and Knowledge of Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona City Council and the University Vives Network are organizing, in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the UB (Casanova, 143), the 1st International University and Inclusion Congress. Registrations can be submitted prior October 20 through this online form.

On the 7th and 8th of November, the Department of Business and Knowledge of Generalitat de Catalunya, Barcelona City Council and the University Vives Network are organizing, in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the UB (Casanova, 143), the 1st International University and Inclusion Congress. Registrations can be submitted prior October 20 through this online form.

The meeting is aimed at research teams, experts and entities related to the university field, who have carried out research projects and tasks related to assistance to disabled people. The aim is to show the research on diversity in the university field, from a national and international perspective.

Expecting this meeting to become a biannual model, this first congress will present research studies that are a significant progress regarding assistance to disabled people in the universities. Researches will be focused on the four main themes of the program: academic and curriculum adaptations; access to university; welcome and monitoring; university sports, and access to internships and companies.

Among the presented researches, the scientific committee of the congress will choose two to be honoured with the awards to young researchers, given by Prevent Foundation, collaborating entity in this meeting.
