A degree of the UB, the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree on Erasmus Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology (WOP-P), has been chosen as the model of best practises together with other twenty-three degrees in all Europe, which can be seen in this link.

The Erasmus Mundus masterʼs degrees, with the support from the European Union, are joint programs among different universities known for their excellence, innovation and internationalization, seeking to reinforce the appeal of the higher education European area and improve the graduatesʼ skills and access to labor market.

The WOP-P masterʼs degree, taught at the Faculty of Psychology and coordinated by the lecturer Marina Romeo, has now reached its twelfth edition and is the first Erasmus Mundus masterʼs degree in which the UB participated.  A total of ten European and non-European universities take part in it: the University of Barcelona, University of Bologna, University of Coimbra, the University of Valencia, the Florida Institute of Technology, the Illinois Institute of Technology, the University of Brazilia, University of Baltimore, University of Guelph and University of Puerto Rico. The students take at least two periods of 30 ECTS credits in two European universities from those participating in the degree and all students meet during two joint training weeks in one of the centers that offer this masterʼs degree.

WOP-P aims to develop a European approach to the theory in human resources management, a field in which North American research and teaching are especially important. This degree aims to make the best of the participation from students and teachers from different countries, and therefore many intercultural student work groups are created.

At the moment the UB takes part in nine Erasmus Mundus masterʼs degrees.
