Marc Millet also got an honourable mention for the project on a protection system for cyclists in the event of an urban accident, and PopUp Art, a project submitted by Maria Royuela, Grace McCormick, Sofia Williamson and Vanessa Severino, to create cultural happenings through which artists and spaces can get in touch with an audience interested in arts through a transmedia platform (www.popupart.es). The jury also honoured Maria Cabrera for her proposal of the online platform eTeaching&Learning, which integrates users with different knowledge levels of music so that they interact and share materials.

The Emprèn! UB awards have two categories: the best entrepreneurship idea or business pre-project (this year to TalentUp by Jordi Arcas), and to the best new company (this year to Global Candance, by Alejandra Moreno). All candidates that applied received a training including individual sessions with mentors, after which they read their business plan. The winners and honourable mentions were decided afterwards. The winners of these two categories got an award worth 3,000 euros; and the honourable mentions account for 1,000 euros. These figures have to be assigned to expenses that are related to the development of the business project.
