All concerts are free of charge and will take place from July 3 to 19, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 9 p.m. in the Historical Building of the University of Barcelona (entrance at carrer Diputació with Enric Granados).
This yearʼs offering brings new projects (with recently edited debut albums or some to be published soon), which are genuine and risky, regarding sound and lyrics and staging. It includes local proposals, from the Balearic Islands and Navarra, and has a great range of styles that share a happy and festive attitude for all groups.
In its thirteenth edition, Els Vespres are consolidated in the Barcelona agenda for their criteria on a diverse and experimental music selection, going for the promotion of culture with the diffusion of the most interesting emerging musical bands of the current scenario. The previous editions have always reached its maximum capacity, showing its success and becoming a model, predicting this yearʼs attendance to be successful.
At 6 p.m., before each concert, attendees can enjoy the terrace with a sandwich service by Caravan Made, in the garden.
Els Vespresʼ artistic direction is carried out by Mireia Madroñero. Bankrobber collaborates in the production of the cycle and concerts are sponsored by Estrella Damm.

JULY 3: JORRA I GOMORRA
The most personal adventure of Jorra Santiago, one of the most relevant musicians in recent Majorcan music. He is presenting Música sèria, a great collection of fun songs, with intelligence and attitude.

JULY 5: SOSUN
A duet formed by Daniel Moreno ROldán -Llança SOSUN-, Gameboys and electronic basis, and Estel Boada -Kaguda Yura- songs and dances. Musical delirium with cartoons, happy hard-core, chip tune and charisma

JULY 10: LʼESPIADIMONIS
New project by Carles Dordella (Les Philippes) with lighting pop and exultant folk. He is presenting his debut album Estimar la vida o témer la mort; optimist songs on love and fights, with social awareness and addictive melodies.

JULY 12: SIDE CHICK
Parallel project by Maïa Vidal, Eduardo Benatar and Scarlett, a high voltage trio. Bass, rough guitar, bittersweet keyboards and seductive and angelic harmonies. A wild attitude and irreverence.

JULY 17: NUU
Artists Aida Oset and Guillem Llotje make melancholic and emotional songs, which create bonds with other artistic disciplines. They are presenting Gloom, a declaration of intentions with an experimental speech.

JULY 19: MELENAS
They come from Pamplona and are among the most praised talents in Spain. They are presenting their first album with an energetic and fresh pop, mixing vintage fuzz-pop with Taulah Gosh, Slumber Party and La Luz.
