Ethics and Research

Experimental designs are in line with current legislation

Animal facility

Research projects that involve animal or clinical experimentation can have ethical implications that are evaluated by specific committees. These committees ensure that the experimental design is in line with current legislation, collaborate with researchers to analyse the ethical implications of projects, and draw up reports for funding applications, when required.

The University of Barcelona considers that it is extremely important for all members of the university community to be aware of the ethical implications of research in all areas of knowledge.
