The Centre for Research on Plant Biodiversity (CeDocBiV) is a UB service that brings together the various resources used and generated by research groups in the Botany Departments of the Faculty of Biology and the Faculty of Pharmacy.

The CeDocBiV is divided into two sections:

• a herbarium that contains collections of algae, bryophytes, cormophytes, fungi and lichen;
• databases of plant biodiversity, thematic cartography, and a virtual herbarium, among others.

The CeDocBiV supports UB researchers’ teaching and research tasks and provides information on plant biodiversity for public institutions, private companies and individuals as required.
