The University School of Nursing trains nursing and podiatry professionals to be actively and
critically engaged with society, competent in providing quality care, and able to respond to
consumers’ specific needs within the framework of current health policy and university programs.
The school is located on the Health Sciences campus in Bellvitge, and has its historical
background in the Hospital Clínic university hospital and the Faculty of Medicine. At present the
University School of Nursing offers two strands of teaching: nursing and podiatry, with
specializations in obstetrics & gynecology (midwifery) and mental health nursing.
