Leopoldo Rodés (Barcelona, 1935) earned his degree in Law from the UB in 1957.
He is CEO of Media Planning Group, the second-largest media advertising specialist worldwide and part of the communication group Havas. His posts include vice-chairman of Banco Urquijo, chairman of ASEPEYO and honorary president of the Family Enterprise Institute. He sits on the boards of numerous companies, including Sogecable.
In addition to his business career, he is well-known for his work as a patron of the arts. He is chairman of the MACBA Foundation, at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona. He sits on the board of the Fundació Orfeó Català–Palau de la Música and on the Patronage Committee of the Liceu. He is also a trustee of the UB’s Bosch i Gimpera Foundation.
