Researcher Albert Ardèvol, who conducted his doctoral studies at the Computer Simulation and Modeling Laboratory (Co.S.Mo.LAB, Barcelona Science Park), has just been awarded the SusChem Young Chemical Researchers prize in the predoc category for his work “The molecular mechanism of enzymatic glycosyl transfer with retention of configuration: evidence for a short-lived oxocarbenium ion-like species”, published in 2011 in Angewandte Chemie, one of the most prestigious journals in the field of chemistry.
