The Research Centre on Industrial and Public Economics (CREIP), created in 2010, is a center located at the Economics Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. The CREIP focuses on two areas of economic analysis: Industrial Organization and Public Economics, and has a team of over thirty researchers from various areas.

The CREIP will host the 4th PhD-Student Workshop on Industrial and Public Economics (WIPE) in Reus (Catalonia, Spain) on 11-12 February 2016. WIPE aims to be an academic meeting where PhD students, young doctors, postdoc researchers and senior researchers could exchange experiences, research topics, ongoing projects and future research activities on the Industrial and Public Economics.

WIPE will include about 16 presentations and plenary sessions with one keynote speaker (José L. Moraga, VU University Amsterdam and University of Groningen). Papers to be presented must fit into topics of Industrial and Public Economics like, among others, Environmental Economics, Regional Economics, and Markets and Institutions. There are not workshop fees, but attendants should cover their own travel and accommodation expenditures.

Paper Submission Procedure
Extended Abstracts of proposed papers (between 500 and 1,000 words) had to be submitted electronically in PDF format by emailing to creip@urv.cat by 25th November 2015, along with the name, affiliation and contact details of the author(s). The deadline for notification of acceptance of abstracts was the 16th December 2015.
Full Papers (in the region of 8,000 words) of accepted abstracts should be submitted in Word or PDF format by 13th January 2016 to be included in the final workshop program. The front page of the document should include the title, authors, affiliations, contact details, and a short abstract.
