Photo contest: “The UB in 575 images”
Which photo best captures your connection to the University of Barcelona? A place you love, a shared moment, a detail that only you can see? The UB invites its entire community to take part in the “UB in 575 Images” contest, an initiative aimed at creating a large collective album to mark the institution’s 575th anniversary. And it does so with an irresistible incentive: a Sony ZV-E10 II digital camera with a 16–50mm II lens, a prize specially designed for content creators and courtesy of Casanova Foto.

Take part!
Taking part in the contest is very easy. You simply need to post photographs on Instagram with the hashtag #LaMevaUB, mention @unibarcelona, and keep your profile public throughout the duration of the contest. The images must show what being part of the UB means to each participant: university life, emblematic spaces, people, or details that express this special connection. A committee made up of an academic representative and three professional photographers will select the best images, and the 575 chosen photographs will be featured in an exhibition in June and July 2026.
