LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To help in the process of teaching training of new lecturers of the University of Antofagasta, in their continuous training policy, to further the professionalization of the teaching tasks to respond to the demand for quality from higher education institutions by our society.
- To create a space for the examination of the lecturer's particular task in university education and to make this task more visible within the mission of university institutions.
- New lecturers have to be equipped with basic teaching skills which they can develop and consolidate in the course of their work. Lifelong learning is one of the keys to this consolidation, helping teaching staff to adapt to new challenges in their work. The master's degree offers an initial training pathway for lecturers supported by subsequent opportunities for further and broader training.
