RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

- Graduates in medicine and surgery.
- Holders of pre-EHEA diplomas or bachelor's degrees in nursing.
- Holders of pre-EHEA degrees/diplomas and bachelor's degrees in health sciences.
- Other technicians, holders of diplomas or bachelor's degrees working in the health area.

ADMISSION FOR APPLICANTS NOT HOLDING A DEGREE QUALIFICATION:

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To acquire knowledge and practical skills for process management methodology.
- To understand, optimize and revise the process of health care (process flows).
- To learn operations management techniques (application of Lean management and Six Sigma) to improve organizational process efficiency.
- To acquire knowledge and practical skills for
the Lean methodology and tools in the health system.
- To acquire knowledge and practical skills for the use of the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control) methodology in the health system.

- To learn to apply the main Lean tools.

- Basic concepts of Six Sigma terminology.
- Practical application of House of
House of Quality, Kano and Critical to Quality (CTQ)trees.
- Practical application of the process flow measure methodology. Introduction to basic
methods of process flow analysis.
- Introduction to basic graphic and statistical methods of data analysis. Application of basic methods to select improvement actions. Understanding and practical application of Statistical Process Control
