- Contracted lecturers.
- Tenured research staff with teaching responsibilities.
- Post-doctoral staff who may take on teaching responsibilities during the master's course.
- Predoctoral staff who may be required to teach during the master's course.
- Other members of staff with teaching responsibilities.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To contribute to the teaching training process for new staff at the University of Barcelona, from a lifelong learning approach, to promote the professionalization of teaching activity in response to society's demand for quality in higher education.
- This course aims to achieve greater recognition for the importance of university education and the role of teaching staff, making their task a more visible component of the university's educational and social mission.
- To provide training in basic teaching competences, which will be developed throughout the participants' university teaching careers.
The course offers an initial training pathway for lecturers supported by subsequent opportunities for further and broader training.
