- Priority shall be given to applicants who have taken and passed the following postgraduate diplomas: Regional and Local Finance: Funding; and Regional and Local Finance: Budgets, Accounting and Control. Applicants with a related master's degree in public management shall also be accepted.
- Applicants who work in the financial area of a public administration, or who have worked there for two of the previous five years, are given special consideration.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
- To acquire a basic understanding of the legal requirements for employment in the public administration (local legislation, tenders, etc.).
- To acquire a more detailed understanding of tax and finance management, budget and accounting planning, and legal, financial and economic control.
- To acquire additional organizational knowledge and skills and those required by new managers.
