RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Holders of pre-EHEA or bachelor's degrees in psychology, physiotherapy, speech therapy, medicine, education, educational psychology, occupational therapy, social work or related disciplines.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To acquire specialized training in early care.
- To learn to detect risks in child development through theoretical and practical training.
- To learn to carry out preventive actions.
- To learn to detect requirements for intervention.
- To learn to assess early childhood development and family settings.
- To gain the capacity to undertake intervention programmes to optimize child development.

    First year: Wednesday and Friday, from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be no classes in July, August or September.

    Second year: hours to be confirmed with the placement centre, within the working hours of professionals at these centres. Most of the hours are in the mornings. The placement period could vary depending on weekly hours of attendance at the centre. For example, the placement could be from February-June, if the student completes 15 hours per week (240 h in total).

    Final project presentation will be held in July and September 2020.
