- Applicants interested in pursuing a career in Catalan language teaching for adult learners, either as language assistants at foreign universities, with the Consortium for Linguistic Standardization, in language schools, with university language services, or in the private sector.
- Applicants with a vocational interest in linguistic standardization and the dissemination of Catalan culture to those who have recently arrived in Catalonia and know little about its specific linguistic and cultural situation.
Admission requirements: degree in Catalan language, humanities, translation and interpreting, education sciences, linguistics, audiovisual communication, primary and early education, or related areas, subject to a minimum level of Catalan language skills.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
To acquire the knowledge and develop the skills and attitudes required to be a good, dynamic and flexible Catalan language teacher for adult learners (at beginner and advanced levels), transmitting a lively and creative language and culture that can be used in any everyday situation.
