- Graduates in teacher training, social education, social work, nursing, education and psychology.
- Holders of official vocational training qualifications with a specialization in Early Childhood Education and Social Integration. In this case, a university extension certificate will be issued.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
To acquire knowledge, strategies and skills for teamwork with children and their families, so as to contribute to increasing the families' confidence in their competences as educators of their children.
- To broaden existing knowledge of different professional functions and tasks, multidisciplinary teamwork, planning, community work and networking, from a strategic perspective.
- To specialist training in educational intervention with to create one, in collaboration with their families.
- To reflect on one's own educational practice, learn to write report and observations, and evaluate the different tasks and projects carried out, to guarantee the service quality.
- To reflect on the conceptual referents to understand the different social and cultural contexts of families with young children.
- To acquire basic strategies and resources to create one's own work place for young children.
