Students with training, experience, or an interest in world or international health or in health determinants.

ADMISSION FOR APPLICANTS NOT HOLDING A DEGREE QUALIFICATION:

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To learn and understand the main determinants of world health, with particular emphasis on the most disadvantaged populations of countries with middle and low incomes.
- To understand how recognition of social determinants of heath could improve the formulation and application of policies and programmes.
