The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
To receive specialised training to develop knowledge and understanding and reflect on unaccompanied foreign minors (MEAN) from a complex, multidisciplinary perspective, based on a theoretical and practical approach that is suitable for professional or academic pathways.
The professional pathway is designed to train professionals, specialists, managers, and administrators and is focused on seeking innovative processes by monitoring the 'parcours de vie' (life course) fully in social interventions, from an interdisciplinary perspective. Particularly important is the participation of the young people in the entire process, to drive systemic and instrumental changes in the way of understanding the care for and integration of this group in Catalonia.
The academic approach is focused on training for applied research in the area of social work, social sciences, and other related disciplines.
