Postgraduate students or professionals with an interest in infectious or communicable diseases in the context of international and global health.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
- To gain broad knowledge of infections diseases, with a particular interest in clinical practice in low- and medium-income countries.
- To focus in particular on etiology, identification of clinical aspects, the use of diagnostic techniques, and case management.
- To learn about the infectious diseases that cause the greatest disease burden worldwide, or that represent considerable challenges for the global health community.
