Professionals with initiative in the management and creation of social projects.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
General objective:
- To learn about the administration and management of NGOs, in the context of international cooperation or the local environment, and to learn how to use this knowledge to create your own social project.
Specific objectives:
a) To acquire an understanding of the international cooperation system and the role that NGOs have played in history.
b) To learn about the third sector and social economy, to promote social entrepreneurship.
c) To develop internal capacity and improve emotional management as a step prior to developing social projects.
d) To learn the legal framework required to create an NGO.
e) To learn the different sponsorship options and acquire the tools for fundraising.
f) To learn the basic concepts of economic and financial management and accounting for an NGO.
g) To develop communication strategies to portray the organization in the media and promote a positive institutional image.
h) To learn communication techniques to sell the social project.
i) To gain skills for managing human resources in the context of NGOs, including voluntary and paid staff.
j) To learn management strategies and develop leadership skills.
k) To develop strategic thinking for managing an organization.
l) To create and develop an innovative social project based on knowledge gained during the specialization.
