Doctors specializing in orthopedic surgery and traumatology (OST) or in neurosurgery.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
For the specialist in orthopaedic surgery and trauma to acquire a thorough understanding of spine surgery in a range of joint pathologies.
The possibilities and limitations of spine surgery are discussed with reference to each of these diseases, and also the possible applications of spine surgery in diagnosis, procedures and research.
- To acquire a theoretical and practical understanding of indications and contraindications, results, complications, treatment and surgical techniques in vertebral column pathology.
