- Personal interview with all short-listed candidates.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

- To understand administrative and accounting issues related to the bookshop sector.

- To learn about the bookshop economic sector and its main elements: general bookstores, specialized bookstores, large supermarkets, neighbourhood or local bookstores, stationer's, rare book and antique bookstores and digital bookstores.
- To learn about the computer programmes and systems used to manage a bookstore's stock.
- To learn about resources and tools for bibliographic information, localization and selection.
- To become familiar with the basic principles of customer care, particularly in the bookstore sector.
