RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Aimed at people interested in the history of art and particularly the painting of medieval centuries.
Preferably graduates in the history of art, fine arts or related disciplines.

ADMISSION FOR APPLICANTS NOT HOLDING A DEGREE QUALIFICATION:

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

The course focuses on the study of medieval European painting, particularly its expression in Catalonia and the Crown of Aragon, and the artistic spaces defined throughout the Gothic period. The diversity of the main schools is considered in the context of Europe of the twelfth to sixteenth centuries.
