- Health professionals and other professionals in related disciplines.
- Employees of NGOs, foundations, public-private partnerships and aid agencies.
- Civil servants and academics wishing to broaden their knowledge of global health.
Access requirements:
- university degree, diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Detailed curriculum vitae and statement of interest.
The diploma will be taught in Spanish and English, depending on the subjects and each of the professors} mother tongues. The teaching material and bibliography will be mainly in English. As such, students must have a good working knowledge of Spanish and English. If these are not mother tongue, students must provide evidence of their level.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
- To analyse the factors that have a bearing on global health.
To understand the complex relations between health and other disciplines such as economics, political sciences and epidemiology.
- To participate in the development of sustainable solutions that contribute to improving quality and access to health, especially in the most disadvantaged populations.
- To work in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement solutions to the main problems and challenges in global health, demonstrating a concern for ethical practice and respect for human rights.
