RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Degree holders or professionals at companies in any country and in area business area who have an interest in international business consulting and internationalization of SMEs, opportunity identification in new markets, negotiations skills and market development for SMEs with international profiles.

ADMISSION FOR APPLICANTS NOT HOLDING A DEGREE QUALIFICATION:

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

To acquire a general level of specialist training in the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises with operations in some of the major markets: Asian, European, Mediterranean and Latin American.

Career opportunities:
- Consultants specialized in international businesses and in the design of internationalization strategies for small and medium-sized businesses).
- Asian or Latin American subsidiaries of European companies or vice versa.

A group of Asian, European and Latin American students will be formed to bring together the languages and cultures of the three main markets, with Barcelona acting as a bridge to join China to Latin America and the Euro-Mediterranean area.

  • Observations:
    CLASS HOURS Monday to Thursday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. plus optional seminars.
    PRACTICALS: The university offers the possibility of establishing a formal student placement agreement providing legal coverage for the company. The student and the company determine the placement content and agree on the conditions.

    Optional activities include complementary programmes, seminars, networking activities for the students and a SSS logistics workshop on board the Cruise Barcelona between BCN-Rome in March-April 2021.
