RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

- Graduates in psychology or medicine.
- Clinical psychologists, general health psychologists, psychiatrists, psychologists and resident doctors specializing in psychiatry.
- Graduates in nursing, social education, social work, educational psychology or criminal sciences, currently working or interested in working in the field of mental health.

ADMISSION FOR APPLICANTS NOT HOLDING A DEGREE QUALIFICATION:

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To respond to the psychopathological manifestations of mental health patients.
- To recognize that the therapeutic bond depends on the position adopted by the professional.
- To coordinate diagnoses with clinical processes to make therapeutic intervention possible.
- To understand the new symptoms of the twenty-first century through current psychoanalysis research findings.
- To understand the principles, problems and fundamental controversies in descriptive psychopathology.
