RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Holders of pre-EHEA or bachelor's degrees in psychology, physiotherapy, speech therapy, medicine, education, educational psychology, occupational therapy, social work or related disciplines.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To acquire specialized training in early care.
- To learn to detect risks in child development through theoretical, practical and on-site training.
- To learn to carry out preventive actions.
- To learn to detect requirements for intervention.
- To learn to assess early childhood development and family settings.
- To be able to implement intervention programmes for the purpose of optimizing childhood development.

    During the first year, classes are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m. (no classes are held in the months of July, August and September).
    Schedules for the following year must be arranged with work placement centres within the working hours of the professionals at each centre (mostly morning schedules). The work placement period may vary depending on the number of hours spent at the centre each week. As an example, the calendar might be from February to June 2021 attending 15 hours per week (240 h).
    Submission of master's degree final projects is scheduled for the months of July and September 2021.
