Students and professionals with experience, training or a general interest in the main challenges of nutrition and food safety, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries.
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
- Learn the main problems of nutrition that affect health, survival and the development capacity of developing countries.
- Adopt an approach at family, community, national and international level to improve nutritional state and explore to what extent malnutrition can be prevented or reduced before economic development is achieved through public and private interventions aimed at the causes of malnutrition.
