RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing with one year of work experience after completion of the nursing degree.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- Update, expand and deepen knowledge of nursing care and physiology, pathology and diagnostic techniques in treatments for heart and cardiovascular surgery patients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of both medical specializations
- Promote nursing professionals' reflection on the application of nursing care in daily practice on the basis of a review of theoretical principles
- Through arrhythmia workshops, provide tools and methods for rapid identification of the main heart arrhythmias and standards for nursing professionals to follow in each situation
- Share concerns and experiences between professionals who have different degrees of expertise from a range of hospitals
- Capture talent and new nursing professionals and introduce them to this area
