Holders of pre-EHEA degrees/diplomas or bachelor's degrees in psychology, physiotherapy, speech therapy, medicine, education, educational psychology, occupational therapy, social work and related disciplines.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To acquire specialized training in early care.
- To gain the skills needed to detect risks in childhood development through theoretical and practical training.
- To learn to carry out preventive actions.
- To learn to detect requirements for intervention.
- To learn to assess early childhood development and family settings.
- To be able to implement intervention programmes for the purpose of optimizing childhood development.

  • Observations:
    During 2022, classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 5.00 to 9.00 p.m. (except for July, August and September). Schedules for 2023 must be arranged with work placement centres within the working hours of the professionals at each centre (mostly morning schedules). The work placement period may vary depending on the number of hours spent at the centre each week. A provisional calendar runs from February to June 2023, with 15 h of class per week (240 hours in total). The master's thesis presentation is expected to take place in July and September 2023.
