RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Holders of pre-EHEA degrees/diplomas or bachelor's degrees in psychology, physiotherapy, speech therapy, medicine, education, educational psychology, occupational therapy, social work and related disciplines.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- Acquire specialized training in early care.
- To learn to detect risks in child development through on-site theoretical in practical training.
- Learn to carry out preventive actions.
- To learn to detect requirements for intervention.
- To learn to assess early childhood development and family settings.
- To be able to implement intervention programmes for the purpose of optimizing childhood development.

    During 2024, classes take place on Wednesdays and Fridays from 17 to 00 p.m. (except for July, August and September). Schedules for 2025 must be arranged with work placement centres within the working hours of the professionals at each centre (mostly morning schedules). The work placement period may vary depending on the number of hours spent at the centre each week. A provisional calendar runs from February to June 2025, with 15 h of class per week (12 hours in total). The presentation of final master's degree projects will take place in the first fortnight of July 2025, or, exceptionally, the first week of September 2025.
