RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Graduates in dentistry or doctors specializing in stomatology.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To learn to describe, in the field of medicine and surgery, signs and symptoms that define the oral state and treatment requirements.
- To develop an understanding of oral diseases, in particular those that require medical or surgical treatment.
- To acquire the knowledge required to plan the most suitable treatment for each patient.
- To understand the general methodological principles of research.
- To acquire the knowledge of basic sciences required in medicine and surgery.
- To learn to take a medical history, conduct a clinical examination and request the required complementary tests.
- To acquire practical experience in the application of the appropriate medical and surgical treatment for each diagnostic situation.
- To learn to plan and implement research projects.
- To learn to work as part of a team.
- To learn to work with other experts in dentistry and general healthcare.
- To acquire the ethical commitment required to improve individual and collective dental care.
