LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- To acquire a thorough understanding of prosthetic surgery in a range of joint pathologies.
- To learn to assess the possibilities and limitations of joint pathologies, and also the applications in diagnosis, procedures and research in the field of replacement surgery.
- To examine the principles and practice of these pathologies: indications and contraindications, results, complications and their treatment and techniques in foot and ankle surgery.
