- Graduates or diploma holders in Nursing.
- To acquire knowledge and skills in pediatrics and be capable of applying them in professional nursing practice.
- To develop a conceptual understanding of pediatrics and its different areas of intervention, drawing distinctions with other medical disciplines.
- To gain sufficient training, criteria and skills to undertake professional activities in primary and hospital care settings.
- To create a space for the exchange of experiences with professionals involved in primary care and hospital care, to receive practical guidance for subsequent professional development.
- To receive career guidance considering each student's expectations through the provision of clinical training in healthcare centres, to undertake nursing tasks with competence in child and adolescent care and to provide support for their families.
-To take an interest in nursing research with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the subject, contributing to the advancement of paediatric nursing and improving the quality of face-to-face activity and, consequently, the health of children and their families as well.
