RECOMMENDED APPLICANT PROFILES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

- Professionals and applicants with accredited experience or an interest in working with young children and their families. - Graduates in teacher training (specialization in early childhood education), social education, social work, nursing or pediatrics. - Graduates or holders of pre-EHEA diplomas in Education or Psychology. - Vocational training graduates in Early Childhood Education or related disciplines.

ADMISSION FOR APPLICANTS NOT HOLDING A DEGREE QUALIFICATION:

The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- Acquire knowledge, strategies and skills for teamwork with children and their families, so as to contribute to increasing the families' confidence in their competences as educators of their children.
- Acquire further, strategic understanding of the different professional roles and tasks, multidisciplinary team work, planning, and community and network practice.
- Acquire specialized training for educational intervention with young infants, with the participation of families.
- Reflect on one's own educational practice, learn to write reports and observations, and evaluate the different tasks and projects carried out, to guarantee service quality.
- Reflect on the conceptual referents to understand the different social and cultural contexts of families with young children.
