The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
- Learn about non-technical skills (NTS) and teamwork (TW) and the relation between patient safety and burnout
- Make appropriate use of safety pauses in intensive care (a strategy to improve safety and teamwork), based on recommendations for proper briefing and debriefing
- Develop as a leader in NTS training
- Train other professionals in problem solving and negotiation ability
