Master lectures are taught in English, so we strongly recommend the students to have at least an English level B2.
The 24-25 academic year will be the last one in which the MIEBE will accept new students since the master's program is entering a phase-out period.
No additional bridging courses will be offered, so only candidates with a biomedical engineering profile will be considered in the new student selection process. Finally, only applications from students willing to pursue the master's program on a full-time basis will be accepted.
To complete the pre-inscription process, the following documents have to be submitted in PDF format:
- DNI or passport
- Curriculum Vitae
- Motivation Letter
- Academic Certificate of studies performed, with qualifications and duration (number of credits or ECTS)
- Bachelor's degree or receipt as payment fees have been paid for students of Spanish universities. Students from foreign universities must provide the Degree or its substitute certificate and, if the studies come from countries that do not belong to the EHEA, it must be apostilled/legalized (depending on whether the country of origin belongs to the Hague Convention or not) *
*Clarification on the presentation of the Master's Access Degree:
The Degree will not be essential for the pre-registration process, but it will be necessary for access to enrolment (in case of admission to the master's degree). More information about the registration process on our website (https://www.ub.edu/portal/web/physics/enrolment-masters)
Foreign students, once admitted, must present the following legalized documentation during the enrolment period:
- Degree diploma
- Academic Certificate

In case this documentation is not in Spanish or English, you must deliver the corresponding official translation to Spanish.
