Robyn Wiegman (Duke University) will give a lecture entitled "Racial Sensations: Writing Post-Slavery Subjectivity". Wiegman is a specialist in literature written by women and women studies, and her interests include feminist and queer theory, American studies, issues related to ethnicity, and film and media studies. She is the author of many articles and books, including Object Lessons (2012) and American Anatomies: Theorizing Race and Gender (1995), among others. The session will be in English.
