The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere and ADHUC–Centre de Recerca Teoria, Gènere, Sexualitat will hold the 23rd Thesis Laboratory on Friday, November 23, 2018. In this new session, the PhD student Joana Videira will present her ongoing research for her doctoral dissertation: Representar otras experiencias: Construcciones literarias de la(s) violencias ejercidas por las mujeres en la narrativa de Marta Sanz y Sara Mesa, directed by Elena Losada. Videira, linked to the project "Novela criminal escrita por mujeres en España entre 1975 y la actualidad" (VANACEM), aims to think about the critical possibilities of the fictionalization of women characters who make suffering and violence an experience of resistance, taking as a point of depart the literary works of Marta Sanz and Sara Mesa. Activity linked to the project La transmisión desde el pensamiento filosófico femenino (FFI2015-63828-P, MINECO/FEDER, UE).
