Summary

The goal of the research project was to carry out a critical analysis of the concept of masculinity in works written by women, from the Middle Ages to the present. It studied the deconstruction of generic stereotypes created by patriarchy in the context of literatures written in Spanish, French, English and Italian, with the aim of contributing to the rewriting of the concept of masculinity.
