She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Computer Vision from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). Her doctoral research focuses on the development of generative AI methods, particularly diffusion models to create synthetic lung CT scans. Anna has expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and signal processing, with experience spanning both academia and industry. She has been a visiting researcher at the \u00c9cole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland), where she worked on AI-driven segmentation for cervical cancer detection.
