itemprop=\"text\" ><p>I earned my degree in Chemistry from the University of Athens in 2020. After that, I undertook an internship in the Cournia Lab at the Biomedical Research Foundation (BRFAA) of the Academy of Athens, focusing on the principles of drug discovery. I then moved to Barcelona where I fulfilled an Erasmus+ stay in the Computational Biology Chemistry &#038; Gastronomy (CBCG) group under Dr. Carolina Estarellas and Prof. Javier Luque dealing with all-atom molecular dynamics to study the isoform selectivity of AMP-activated protein kinase. Pursuing my stay in the CBCG group granted with HPC-Europa3 fellowship, I conducted molecular dynamics of biological systems comprise of hundreds of thousand atoms. In 2022, I obtained my MSc in Atomistic and Multiscale Computational Modelling in Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry from the Universitat de Barcelona and the Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Catalunya. During this year, I expertized in programming tools and the application of various techniques in Computational Chemistry. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student, directing my research towards unravelling the intricate structure\/function dynamics of protein-ligand complexes. My particular focus lies in elucidating the mechanisms underlying their activation, inhibition, and allosteric modulation processes.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of the lab, I enjoy travelling, cooking and actively contributing to outreach activities that foster scientific curiosity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
