Objective

Analyze the economic, cultural and social impact derived from the activities of the Ministry of Defense and its autonomous organizations for the year 2019.

Methodology

Economic impact:

1st PHASE: Compilation of statistical information

2nd PHASE: Identification of all the tangible and intangible effects derived from the activity of the Ministry of Defense and Autonomous Organizations (OOAA)

3rd PHASE: Quantification of the impact for the Spanish economy derived from the activity carried out by the Ministry of Defense and OOAA: the Tangible Effects. Quantification of the direct, indirect, induced impact and the total effect.

4th PHASE: Writing and presentation of results

PHASE 5: Comparative analysis of results. Evolution 2010-2019


Social and cultural impact:

  1. Review of the economic literature to frame the type of social and cultural effects of referents similar to that of our case study.
  2. Field work, with interviews and focus groups, to complement the analysis that the research team will carry out on the intangible effects or those that are difficult to quantify economically.
  3. Completion of the final report.
