Economic Impact of the Feria de Novilladas of the Community of Madrid and the Chenel Cup

Objective

The objective of this study is to calculate and describe the economic and social impact of the two bullfighting circuits developed by the Fundación del Toro de Lidia in the Community of Madrid: the Circuito de Novilladas of the Community of Madrid and the Chenel Cup.

Methodology

1.Analysis of bullfighting fairs in the Community of Madrid in recent years.

2.Study of the direct impact of the circuit and the Chenel Cup based on information related to its costs and income

3.Analysis of the indirect impact: in order to capture the indirect impact, a spending survey is carried out on those attending the bullfighting festivities.

4.Study of the induced impact: the regional and/or national Input-Output tables are applied

5.Preparation of the final report.
