Objective
b) Evaluate the results obtained in terms of the impact of the program among the participants, both in terms of return to the educational system, as well as the possible labor insertion once the program has ended.
The objective of this evaluation is to deepen the aspects of implementation and impact of the New Opportunities program, of the Youth Occupation Area of the Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC), in its first edition (2015-2017).
The specific objectives are:
a) Evaluate the program implementation process, in each of the different phases, and making distinction between the 8 territorial areas.b) Evaluate the results obtained in terms of the impact of the program among the participants, both in terms of return to the educational system, as well as the possible labor insertion once the program has ended.
Methodology
Part A: Application of univariate and multivariate statistics techniques to delineate the key elements that characterize the New Opportunities program and the different subjects involved.
1) Description of the main features of the New Opportunities program
2) Analysis of the characteristics of the different subprograms, as well as their specific functioning and their participants
3) The quantitative information is complemented with more detailed information of a qualitative nature
Part B: Detect if participation generates significant effects on the return to the educational system, in terms of occupancy of the participants, on their labor insertion and on the quality of the work obtained.
